By means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), chemical composition analysis and particle size analysis, the basic properties of fluoropyrogypsum were tested comprehensively. The test results show that the main phase composition of fluogypsum is anhydrous type II CaSO4, the effective components of CaO and SO3 are more than 97%. It is a granular crystal with high regularity and crystallinity, and the crystal size is between 0.2μm-200um. It is a kind of gypsum resource with high purity, wide particle size distribution and potential hydration activity.
